Registration

Before you sign up

Read the information on the study's website. Then you can ask yourself:

  • Do I comply with the criteria for the study?
  • Do I have access to a computer and / or mobile phone with internet connection throughout the course of the study?

Registration may close without warning

Usually there is a specific cut-off date when the study is no longer accepting new registrations. But the research leader is the one who determines if there enough registrations to begin the study.

If the possibility to register is closed, a notice may be published on the website. It is also evident when the "Register" link in the menu is no longer visible.

Register your details

Enter your email address and tick the "I consent" on the "Register" button.

If the registration is successful, you will see a new page with a confirming message. An email will be sent to the address you provided, which includes a link to a form where you are asked to confirm your registration. This step is carried out so that we can ensure that:

  • Your e-mail address exists and has been entered correctly
  • You want to participate in the study (no one else was using your email address for registration)

Read more under the topic confirming registration.

Problems with your registration?

If you encounter an error message when you try to register your email address

Check the following:

  • you have typed your email address correctly
  • you have checked "I consent"
  • you have not already signed up (only one account per email address is allowed)

If the registration is successful, but you do not get any emails from us

Check if the mail is in your junk mail inbox (spam folder). You can also try to search through your e-mail after the study name, it should be included in the subject line of the email message sent.

If you can't find the email, and it does not show up within a few hours or at most one day

Try to sign up again with the same email address. The study's employees regularly send reminders to those registered who have not confirmed their registration. If you still have received no emails in a few days, your e-mail provider or your email program probably have blocked our message. If you have an alternate email address, or can create one, try with that instead.
